"Brian Alflatt: A Sidecar Racing Legend Through the Decades" From his early days partnering with Adrian Walduck in 1990 to his recent success alongside Aaron Gorman in 2019, it has left an indelible mark on the world of sidecar racing. With a career spanning multiple decades and numerous partnerships, Alflatt's skill and determination have made him a force to be reckoned with. In 1980, Mick Harvey and Brian Alflatt took the Yamaha team by storm at the Sidecar TT, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and speed. This was just the beginning for Alflatt as he continued to push boundaries year after year. One notable partnership came in 2005 when Christophe Darras joined forces with Alflatt under the Baker Honda banner. Their synchronized maneuvers and unwavering focus led them to an impressive performance at that year's Sidecar TT. Throughout his career, Alflatt has faced challenges head-on. In 1999, he teamed up with Darren Abrahams aboard an Ireson machine for a thrilling ride at the Sidecar TT. Despite encountering setbacks along the way, their resilience shone through as they pushed themselves to new limits. Not every race went according to plan for this seasoned racer. An overshoot during one event tested both his skills and mental fortitude but did not deter him from pursuing victory in future races. Alflatt's ability to adapt is evident in his diverse partnerships over time. Joining forces with Herve Chenu under Baker Suzuki's banner in 2010 showcased his versatility as they tackled challenging courses together. The years rolled on, but Alflatt remained a formidable competitor. His collaboration with Guy Lowe on an Ireson Honda bike brought them success at the Sidecar TT in 1995 while another fruitful alliance formed between him and Guy Lowe again under Baker Honda colors during the 2004 Sidecar TT.
