In September 2021, Brubeck returned to Loughton Methodist Church with his quartet consisting of Matt Ridley, Darius Brubeck (his son), and Wesley Gibbens. This time it was not only about incredible music but also supporting a noble cause through the NJA Fundraiser event. The quartet's performance was nothing short of extraordinary; each member brought their unique flair to the stage, creating an atmosphere filled with soulful improvisation and heartfelt compositions. Dave O Higgins also joined forces with the Darius Brubeck Quartet during this memorable evening at Loughton Methodist Church. Reflecting back on his illustrious career, one cannot forget Dave Brubeck's captivating performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague, Netherlands in 2004.
