From her early days in London to captivating performances at renowned festivals, Cleo's talent knows no bounds. In 1975, at the prestigious Dorchester in London, artist Brian O'Connor captured Cleo Laine's essence as she graced the stage with her mesmerizing voice. The energy and passion emanating from her performance were palpable. Fast forward to 1995, where another masterpiece was created by Brian Foskett during Cleo's captivating appearance at the Brecon Jazz Festival. Her soulful rendition transported audiences to new heights of musical ecstasy. But it wasn't just Cleo who stole the show; John Dankworth, a virtuoso saxophonist and composer, joined forces with Alec Dankworth for an unforgettable performance in Wales that same year. Brian Foskett immortalized their synergy on camera, capturing their undeniable chemistry as they weaved melodies together. The roots of this extraordinary collaboration can be traced back to 1960 when Spike Heatley and Ronnie Stephenson joined forces with the Dankworth Big Band at Marquee Club in London. Their dynamic presence set ablaze a fire that would burn brightly for years to come. Alec Dankworth continued his family legacy by showcasing his rhythmic prowess alongside "The Rhythmic" band in London during 1996. Once again photographed by Brian Foskett, this moment serves as a testament to Alec's dedication and skill as he carries forward his family's musical heritage. Returning once more to Brecon Jazz Festival in Wales in 1995, Cleo Laine took center stage yet again under Foskett's watchful lens. Her enchanting voice filled every corner of the venue while leaving audiences spellbound.
