The Common Linnet, a vibrant and captivating bird, has been captured in various forms of art throughout history. From colour lithographs to chromolithographs, these stunning illustrations showcase the beauty of this species. One such depiction shows a male Linnet perched on yellow flowered gorse in Sheffield, England during the month of April. Another artwork portrays a Linnet resting on a Cottonwood branch in Noord-Holland. These images highlight the diverse habitats that these birds inhabit.
