"Capturing the Essence of Youth Culture: A Glimpse into Core76" Step back in time to the vibrant era of the 1960s, where youth culture was at its peak and rebellion filled the air. Join us as we delve into the captivating world of Core76, a collection that encapsulates the essence of this iconic period. Filming on the set of Ready Steady Go. In February 1964, television screens came alive with electrifying performances and youthful exuberance. The Mods gathered in Hastings on their scooters just a few months later, August 1964, showcasing their unique style and love for all things mod. In October 1963, two rockers sat proudly on their motorbike, representing an alternative subculture amidst this dynamic era. Meanwhile, a typical working day unfolded at Nuthouse hairdressing salon in Royal Arcade - a hub where innovative hairstyles flourished under skilled hands. The year is now 1964; Mods continue to make waves with their impeccable fashion sense and suave suits. However, not all stories from this time were idyllic - three youths faced consequences for causing bodily harm to a holidaymaker. Fast forward to 1967 when Eric Burdon of The Animals tied the knot with Angie King. Their celebration party became an emblematic moment within Core76's narrative. South Wales comprehensive school head took out his own contract on a group known as Hair - revealing how music could ignite controversy even within educational institutions. Punk band Sex Pistols embarked on their tour of Holland in January 1977; capturing rare moments behind closed doors as they relaxed in hotel bathrooms or Johnny Rotten himself graced Dutch soil with his punk persona. However rebellious they may have been, A & M Records sacked them just two months later – receiving only £75 for their efforts. Through these glimpses into history captured by Core76's lens emerges a vivid portrayal of the swinging sixties and punk revolution.
