The Eastern cottontail rabbit, scientifically known as Sylvilagus floridanus, is a fascinating creature that can be found in various regions of the United States. In April, one such rabbit was spotted in Laredo Borderlands, Texas. Its fluffy white tail stood out against the vibrant greenery surrounding it. Fast forward to June in Texas again and another Eastern cottontail rabbit made an appearance. This time its fur blended perfectly with the warm tones of the Texan landscape. In a completely different setting, amidst snowy surroundings in Lincoln County, Wyoming, an Eastern cottontail rabbit sought warmth by huddling itself together. Its determination to survive even in harsh conditions was truly admirable. Moving on to Lincoln County once more but this time capturing a moment of tranquility as a young cottontail rabbit sat peacefully among tall grasses. The serenity radiating from this scene was simply captivating. Further exploring cliffs in Wyoming's Lincoln County revealed yet another interesting sight - a cottontail rabbit climbing into its hole for safety and shelter. It showcased their ability to adapt and utilize their environment effectively. Sublette County also had its share of enchanting moments with Nuttalls Cottontail rabbits sitting gracefully amidst snow-covered landscapes. Their presence added charm and beauty to these wintry scenes. Hidalgo County, Texas witnessed an Eastern cottontail indulging itself with some delicious greens while being observed closely by curious eyes nearby. It highlighted their dietary habits and how they sustain themselves within their ecosystem. Kimble County provided us with an exhilarating spectacle as we caught sight of a rear view shot of a lively cottontail rabbit running and jumping effortlessly through its natural habitat - showcasing agility at its finest. Even beyond US borders lies Les Cedres in Quebec, Canada where a stunning image captured the majestic presence of a Cottontail Rabbit against breathtaking scenery - proving that these creatures are not confined solely to the United States.
