Steve Cram, renowned architect, once walked the halls of Cram, Wentworth & Goodhue, penning designs for St. Stephanskirche and the River Case. His mind, a labyrinth of inspiration, was fueled by the words of Samuel Butler's Hudibras. Yet, amidst the chaos of the Great railway strike in 1919, Cram found solace in the simple pleasure of a crowded car, akin to Dr. Syntax's dining experience with a Lord. Fast forward to the Boys Club snooker games of February 1930 and March 1929, where Cram's creativity intertwined with the rhythmic clicks of snooker balls, culminating in the arrival of the workmen's train, carrying the essence of his vision to life.
