"Nature's Fury: Crashing Waves Paint the Sky in Green Illumination" As the almost black sky looms overhead, a mesmerizing green glow illuminates the heavy surf crashing against the Malecon at sunset in Cuba's vibrant Havana. The power of nature is on full display as waves relentlessly pound Southwold pier, creating a spectacle that leaves us awestruck. Venturing to Mainland's wild west coast, we are greeted by an awe-inspiring sight - huge waves fiercely colliding with layered cliffs at Yesnaby, and is a reminder of Mother Nature's raw beauty and her ability to shape our world. Across Lago Nicaragua in Central America, our gaze falls upon Volcan Conception and Ometepe Island. Here, the mighty waves of the Atlantic Ocean crash against the sandy wall of Namib desert, showcasing an extraordinary meeting point between land and sea. Delving into history through hand-coloured etchings published by Hannah Humphrey in 1798 and 1800, we witness perilous scenes unfolding on stormy seas. "The Storm Rising" depicts a Republican Flotilla endangered by turbulent waters while "The Trident is Confirmed" presents a design for a Naval Pillar amidst treacherous conditions. In Lisbon, Portugal lies Praia do Guincho near Cascais where stone walls of an old fort stand tall against crashing waves. These remnants serve as silent witnesses to centuries past when battles were fought both on land and at sea. Transporting ourselves back to London in 1810 through another hand-coloured engraving titled "A Squall, " we find ourselves immersed in tempestuous weather that mirrors life's storms - unpredictable yet undeniably captivating. Finally, standing proudly along Havana Bay stands Castillo De Los Tres Reyes Del Morro or El Morro fortress. With crashing waves serving as its eternal guardians, this historic structure symbolizes strength and resilience against the relentless power of the sea.
