The Cream Cracker Team, consisting of skilled drivers and their trusty MG cars, left their mark on various trials and rallies throughout the 1930s. In the MCC Lands End Trial of 1935, MG PA driver RA MacDermid showcased his expertise as part of this formidable team. The following year, at the Sunbac Inter-Club Team Trial in 1935, Maurice Toulmin and Jack Bastock displayed their exceptional driving skills in their MG PAs. The Cream Cracker Team's legacy continued to grow with each event they participated in. In the MG Car Club Abingdon Trial/Rally of 1939, WS Whittard maneuvered his powerful MG Magnette through challenging terrains with finesse. Meanwhile, JES Jones took his MG TA to new heights during the MCC Edinburgh Trial in Roxburghshire, Scotland in 1938. Not only did the Cream Cracker Team excel on land but also conquered water obstacles during events like the Great Weat Motor Club Trial and Torbay Rally in Devon both held in 1938. Ken Crawford showcased his remarkable driving skills behind the wheel of an MG TA during these thrilling competitions. Their determination was further demonstrated at events such as the Midland Centre Trials organized by the prestigious MG Car Club. The likes of JES Jones, Maurice Toulmin, and Ken Crawford fearlessly tackled treacherous paths while representing the Cream Cracker Team. Even hill climbs were no match for this talented group; they dominated Rushmere Hillclimb in Shropshire back in 1935 with a strong showing from their cream cracker-colored MGPAs. Throughout these challenges and triumphs across various trials and rallies, it is evident that being part of the Cream Cracker Team meant more than just competing – it symbolized camaraderie among passionate individuals who shared a love for motorsports excellence.
