"Crossed Arms: A Symbol of Power, Resilience, and Expression" Throughout history, the gesture has conveyed various meanings across different cultures and contexts. From Fridtjof Nansen, the intrepid Norwegian explorer who fearlessly braved uncharted territories with his arms firmly crossed in determination; to Jean Bourdichon's Manuscript Leaf depicting the Annunciation where crossed arms symbolize reverence and submission before a divine presence.
