The Eurylaimidae family is a diverse and colorful group of birds found in various parts of the world. From the vibrant Green Broadbill to the striking Black-and-red Broadbill, these avian beauties never fail to captivate with their unique features. In Taman Negara National Park, Malaysia, an adult male Green Broadbill can be seen indulging in its favorite treat - juicy fruits hanging from a tree. Its emerald green plumage stands out against the lush foliage, making it a sight to behold. Venturing into Frasers Hill in Malaysia reveals another member of the Eurylaimidae family - the Dusky Broadbill. With its dusky gray feathers and piercing eyes, this bird perches gracefully on branches as it surveys its surroundings. Traveling further south to Kaeng Krachan in Thailand unveils two more fascinating species. The Black-and-yellow Broadbill displays contrasting colors that make it stand out among its peers. Meanwhile, the Banded Broadbill showcases intricate patterns on its feathers as it confidently sits on a branch. Not far away, we encounter yet another Dusky Broadbill species. This time, an adult holds a leaf delicately in its beak while perched on a branch at Kaeng Krachan National Park. It's incredible how nature provides such stunning moments for us to witness. Moving eastward to Thailand's Kaeng Krachan National Park once again brings us face-to-face with the Silver-breasted Broadbill. Its silver chest shines under sunlight as it rests gracefully on a branch amidst verdant surroundings. Heading across continents all the way to Ghana's Ankasa Reserve introduces us to one more member of this remarkable family -the Rufous-sided Broadbill. With its rufous-colored sides and confident stance on a twig, this male bird exudes elegance and charm. Finally, our journey takes us back to Southeast Asia where the Green Broadbill, in its two different subspecies, continues to enchant.
