Just five days later, on September 18th, we found ourselves immersed in autumn hues as fireweed and underbrush painted the Jewel Basin Hiking Area National Forest with vibrant colors. On July 5th, 2021, we marveled at fields of flowering canola stretching across the valley. The golden blooms added an extra touch of beauty to this already stunning place. As we explored further, our journey led us to encounter some fascinating wildlife too. We were lucky enough to spot Highland Cattle roaming freely through this idyllic landscape on our visit last month. Their majestic presence added an enchanting touch to an already magical scenery.
