"Gardien: A Watchful Guardian in Art and History" This captivating chromolithograph devotional card depicts a serene scene of a guardian angel watching over us, offering solace and protection. Traveling back to ancient Rome, we witness the compassionate act of food distribution to slaves in the evening. Le Rire's illustration from November 20th, 1909, takes us to the Louvre Museum where a diligent guardian stands watch over priceless treasures.
