Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, a renowned Italian artist of the 17th century, captivated audiences with his diverse range of artworks. In "Saint Francis in Ecstasy, " created around 1650, Castiglione beautifully portrays the spiritual fervor and divine connection experienced by Saint Francis.
