Graham Bentman: A Legendary TT Racer with a Passion for Speed Meet Graham Bentman, the iconic name that resonates in the world of motorcycle racing. With an illustrious career spanning several decades, Bentman has left an indelible mark on the Isle of Man TT races. In 1976, riding a Benelli, Bentman showcased his exceptional skills and determination at the Production TT. The crowd was mesmerized as he fearlessly maneuvered through challenging terrains and emerged victorious. Two years later, in 1978, Bentman switched to Norton and participated in the Classic TT. His performance was nothing short of extraordinary as he effortlessly glided across the track, leaving spectators awe-struck by his talent. Bentman's love affair with Norton continued into 1984 when he once again took part in the Classic TT. This time around, he displayed sheer brilliance and finesse on his Norton bike, earning him accolades from fans and fellow racers alike. But it wasn't just Norton that witnessed Bentman's prowess; other renowned brands also had their share of glory with him behind their handlebars. In 1981 Formula One TT race, it was Suzuki who benefited from his expertise as he raced towards victory amidst fierce competition. Honda became another beneficiary of Bentman's exceptional skills when he dominated both Formula Three (in 1977) and Formula Two (in 1981) categories at the prestigious event. His Honda bikes seemed to be extensions of himself as they seamlessly responded to every twist and turn on those treacherous tracks. Kawasaki too had its moment under Bentman's command during various editions of both Production (in 1975) and Classic (in 1984) TT races. He proved time and again that no matter which brand adorned his bike’s fairings; his determination remained unwavering. One particular year stands out among all others - 1979.
