In both 1983 and 1996, astride a Norton bike at the Classic Manx Grand Prix events, he demonstrated unparalleled skill and expertise that earned him well-deserved accolades. The years 2013 and 2014 witnessed him dominate both the 350 Classic TT event as well as the prestigious Isle of Man's Classic TT on board powerful Norton machines.
