Ichikawa Ebizo, also known as Danjuro V, was a prominent actor in the world of kabuki theater during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Renowned for his versatility and skill, he brought to life numerous iconic roles that have left an indelible mark on Japanese performing arts. One such role was Mongaku Shonin Disguised as Yamagatsu, portrayed by Ichikawa Ebizo from 1781 to 1801.
