Symbol @ & binary code to represent E-mail

E-mail symbol. Computer artwork representing electronic mail (e-mail), showing the symbol "@" (meaning "at") with streams of zeroes and ones (binary digits). The symbol "@" is used in the address of the users of e-mail, a method whereby computer users can send and receive text and images over the internet. The internet is an international network of computers which includes the World Wide Web. The binary system represents numbers and computer commands with a series of "0"s and "1"s. Computers use it to communicate with each other because an electric pulse can be used to represent a "1", whilst the absence of a pulse registers a "0"
