In the hustle and bustle of a Victorian theatre, theatregoers jostle for space in a crowded box, eagerly awaiting the start of A House Full by Cecil Aldin. Moving forward in time to the 20th century, a comic postcard depicts the chaos at Edinburgh Exhibition's Last Boat on the Water Chute. Laughter fills the air as visitors jostle to secure their spot on this thrilling ride before it closes for the day. At a Hallow Fair Scene, people gather around various attractions, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and joy. Amongst them is The Peep Show painting that offers glimpses into another world, causing curious spectators to jostle each other for a better look. A significant historical moment unfolds as Konrad Adenauer visits Berlin's sector border near Potsdamer Platz in 1961. Crowds gather to catch a glimpse of this influential figure amidst political tensions, resulting in eager individuals jostling one another for proximity. Centuries earlier, King Louis VI grants Parisians their first rights amid cheers and celebration. In this historic scene captured by Louis Le Gros' artwork, citizens excitedly push forward towards their king while inadvertently jostling each other with enthusiasm. Returning to Konrad Adenauer's visit to Brandenburg Gate during his tenure as German chancellor showcases yet again how crowds flock together when important figures are present. Onlookers strain against one another just to get closer or catch sight of him amidst heightened security measures. The year is 1936 when Geneva becomes host to an impactful demonstration. Protesters from all walks of life come together demanding change - their collective voices echoing through streets packed with people who constantly jostle against each other in pursuit of justice. Nature also presents its own version of "jostling" within Katavi National Park in Zambia.
