In the picturesque village of Roundstone, nestled in the heart of Connemara, Co Galway, Ireland, Eldons Hotel stands as a testament to history and tradition. As I kneeled before its grand entrance, I couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence for the stories that unfolded within these walls. The engravings adorning the hotel's corridors whispered tales of struggle and triumph. One such engraving depicted "The History of a Slave, " reminding me of the resilience that resides in every human spirit. Inside Eldons Hotel, I witnessed a characteristic ceremony unfold - the appointment of five new cardinals. The scene was filled with adoration at the Altar; it was an awe-inspiring sight captured beautifully in a colour lithograph. As I explored further, my eyes were drawn to captivating images depicting various aspects of life. A man proposing passionately caught my attention through its vibrant colours on another lithograph.
