It symbolized the unwavering spirit of the Free French - brave men and women who stood against tyranny. Honouring their legacy, we remember the heroic Maquis fighters who risked everything for liberty. The Surcouf Submarine of the Free French Navy stands as a testament to their determination. Its mighty presence in WW2 exemplified their strength in adversity, reminding us that even in dark times, hope can prevail.
