In the fall of '54, a vintage season for debutantes, Lorna captivated hearts with her grace and elegance at every social gathering. Her Pug companion, Countess Howe Dog, was always by her side, adding an extra touch of charm to her presence. At Lorna Doone Farm in Malmsmead on Exmoor, Devon, she found solace during World War II while working tirelessly on the land. Her unwavering determination symbolized the strength and resilience that defined her character. Amidst a feud in the factory where she worked, Lorna remained steadfast and fought for justice alongside her fellow workers. Her courage inspired those around her to stand up against injustice. Lorna's connection to Carver Doone added an element of mystery to her story. The secrets they shared were whispered among locals who marveled at their undeniable bond. Traveling through Miss Hs Manfield's Van named after our beloved heroine herself - "Lorna Doone" - became a whimsical experience akin to stepping into another realm altogether.
