Their partnership proved fruitful as they conquered challenging tracks and pushed their limits to secure impressive results. The following year saw them team up yet again, this time representing Bardahl Yamaha at the prestigious event. Murphy's versatility was evident as he partnered with different riders over the years. In 1978, he joined forces with Robert Mullen aboard a Barton Suzuki machine for an exhilarating ride during the Sidecar TT. This collaboration demonstrated Murphy's ability to adapt to various motorcycles and work seamlessly with different teammates. One of Martin Murphy's most successful partnerships came when he teamed up with John Cushnahan on multiple occasions. Together they rode Ireson Yamahas in both 1988 and 1989 editions of the Sidecar TT, showcasing their incredible chemistry on track.
