Michael Staiano is a legendary figure in the world of sidecar racing, leaving an indelible mark on the sport throughout his career. Partnering with various talented co-drivers, he showcased his exceptional skills and determination at multiple Sidecar TT races. In 1982, Michael Staiano teamed up with Peter Willis to compete in the Sidecar TT aboard their powerful Windle Yamaha machine. Their partnership proved fruitful as they displayed remarkable teamwork and speed on the challenging Isle of Man circuit. The following year, Staiano joined forces once again with Willis, this time riding a Jacobs Yamaha outfit. Together, they pushed themselves to the limit and left spectators in awe of their fearless approach to racing. Fast forward to 1985 when Michael Staiano reunited with Peter Willis for another shot at glory. Mounted on their trusty Windle Yamaha sidecar rig, they demonstrated incredible skill and determination as they tackled every twist and turn of the iconic Isle of Man track. In 1986, it was David Hanna who shared the cockpit with Staiano during the Sidecar TT race. The duo piloted a formidable Windle Yamaha combination that commanded attention from fans and competitors alike. Staiano's illustrious career reached new heights in 1987 when he partnered with Alan Fisher for two separate races – one aboard a Windle Yamaha machine and another astride a Yamaha-powered sidecar rig by itself. This dynamic pairing brought out their best performances as they fearlessly battled against fierce competition. The year 1993 saw Michael Staiano teaming up with Norman Elcock for yet another thrilling ride at the Sidecar TT event. Riding under Jacobs' banner this time around, they showcased impeccable teamwork while pushing boundaries on every lap. Finally, in 1995 and 1996 respectively, Peter Holmes became Staiano's trusted co-driver as they took on both years' Sidecar TT challenges together.
