Mike Smith is a name that resonates with speed and talent. In 2011, he showcased his skills at the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix, riding a Honda motorcycle with finesse and precision. This race was just one of many where Mike proved himself as a force to be reckoned with on the track. But it wasn't just motorcycles that Mike excelled in; he also had a passion for racing cars. In 2007, he participated in the Ultra Lightweight Manx Grand Prix, once again representing Honda and leaving spectators in awe of his driving abilities. In 1999, he graced The Fairway stage in Welwyn Garden City as part of The Lee Gibson Quartet's concert. Mike's versatility didn't stop there; he was also associated with another iconic group - The Dave Clark Five. Whether performing live or filming at MGMs Boreham Wood studio in Hertfordshire during the swinging sixties, Mike stood out among his bandmates Rick Huxley and Dave Clark. Together they created timeless music that still resonates today. Amidst all these accomplishments, Mike embarked on another exciting journey when he joined Radio One at just 27 years old. Leaving behind Capital radio station where he had made waves before, this move marked yet another milestone in his career. From racing circuits to concert stages and even airwaves, Mike Smith left an indelible mark wherever his passions took him. With each endeavor showcasing his immense talent and unwavering dedication to excellence, it is clear why this name continues to be synonymous with success across various fields.
