"Unleashing the Red Wedge: The October Revolution and its Impact on Russia" In 1917, a wave of change swept across Russia, forever altering its course. The iconic poster "Beat the Whites with the red wedge" by El Lissitzky symbolized the power of the Bolsheviks as they aimed to reshape their nation. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin's enigmatic presence in the early 1910s foreshadowed both intrigue and unrest. A mass demonstration in Moscow captured on canvas depicted the fervor and unity that fueled this revolution. With determination, the Red Guard triumphantly entered Moscow's Kremlin on November 2nd, 1917, marking a turning point in history. The Russian Soviet lithograph poster from 1922 by Ivan Simakov celebrated five years since this great proletarian revolution began. It echoed hope for a brighter future amidst challenging times. Decades later, Soviet troops marched through Moscow during an anniversary parade in honor of this momentous event. Amidst these revolutionary changes, even religion faced scrutiny as priests were conveyed to judgment in 1922. Nicholas II, once czar of Russia detained at Tsarskoye Selo Palace with armed guards surrounding him showcased how power dynamics had shifted dramatically. The dogs of Entente - Denikin, Kolchak, Yudenich - represented opposing forces against communism in a powerful image created by Denisov (Deni) in 1919. Meanwhile, "Entente under the mask of peace" warned against hidden agendas lurking beneath seemingly peaceful facades. As battles raged on between ideologies and classes clashed fiercely, "Death to capital - or death under the heel of capital. " became a rallying cry for those fighting for equality and justice during these tumultuous times. Yet amidst all struggles emerged visions for a better world; one that promised universal prosperity and enduring peace.
