Their tragic fate was later immortalized in an engraving published in The Illustrated London News. Meanwhile, in a different part of the world, a Bengal tiger quenches its thirst at Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan. Two Panther Six sculptures, created by Belgian artist Panther in 1977, stand as white reminders of the power and mystery of these big cats.
