Ray Knight is a legendary figure in the world of motorcycle racing, known for his incredible skills and numerous achievements. In 1980, he rode a Laverda in the Formula Two TT race, showcasing his talent and determination on the track. Throughout his career, Knight has been associated with various iconic brands. In 1995, he participated in the Classic Parade alongside Manfred Oechsle on an AJS and himself on a BSA. This event highlighted not only his love for motorcycles but also his appreciation for classic models. One of Knight's notable victories came in 1973 when he dominated the Formula 750 TT race riding a Hughes Triumph bike. His exceptional performance demonstrated both his technical prowess and strategic mindset. In 1968, Knight competed in the Production TT aboard a Triumph motorcycle. This event allowed him to showcase not only speed but also reliability as he navigated through challenging terrain. Knight's success extends beyond national races; he also left an indelible mark at international events such as the Junior Manx Grand Prix held in 1963. Riding a Hughes Triumph bike, he displayed unmatched skill against fierce competition. Years later, Knight continued to participate in prestigious events like the TT Parade Lap in 2002 alongside Pete Tyer on a G50 Seeley while riding another Triumph motorcycle himself. This parade lap was an opportunity for fans to witness their favorite riders up close and personal. The Senior Manx Grand Prix held in 1962 saw Ray Knight astride a Redplum machine as he raced against formidable opponents from around the globe. His dedication to excellence propelled him forward throughout this intense competition. In collaboration with Peter Butler during the Production TT of 1967, Knight showcased teamwork and camaraderie while representing Triumph motorcycles once again. Their joint effort resulted in an unforgettable display of skill and determination. Knight's versatility shone through when he competed on different bikes throughout his career.
