Scars tell stories of battles fought and challenges overcome, and are the marks that remind us of our strength and resilience, etched into our very being. Just like the jagged scars on the Great White Shark's mouth, they serve as a testament to its survival in the ruthless depths of the ocean. In Picture No. 10741279, amidst the haunting beauty of Plug Street Wood by Matania, we witness scars of a different kind. A Shilluk Girl bears extensive traditional scarification, an ancient practice that symbolizes her tribe's identity and traditions.
