Sean Collister is a legendary name in the world of motorcycle racing. With numerous victories and championships under his belt, he has left an indelible mark on the sport. In 1990, riding a Yamaha, Sean Collister showcased his exceptional skills at the Junior Manx Grand Prix. But this was not his only triumph. In 1983, he once again dominated the Junior Manx Grand Prix aboard a Yamaha, proving that he was a force to be reckoned with. The following year, in 1982, Collister claimed victory at the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix on another Yamaha machine. Collister's success did not come without teamwork and support from fellow riders like Rob Haynes (Yamaha) and Mike Booys (Pinfold Yamaha). Together, they formed an unstoppable trio that pushed each other to new heights. In 2003, Sean Collister switched gears and joined Honda for the Ultra Lightweight Manx Grand Prix. His determination paid off as he crossed the finish line in first place. Collaboration played a significant role throughout his career. One notable partnership was with Bill Hodgkins as they tackled the Sidecar TT in 1993 on their Windle machine. The years rolled by but Sean Collister's passion for racing remained unwavering. In 1996, astride a DTR MB Yamaha bike, he conquered yet another Junior Manx Grand Prix. His versatility shone through when he took on different brands such as Kawasaki in the Production TT of 1985 or returning to Yamaha for the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix of 1989. Not limited to solo races alone, Collister also excelled in sidecar events alongside Barry Sloper (Kawasaki) during the Sidecar TT of 1982 or teaming up with Tony Martin (Yamtax) for an unforgettable ride at the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix of 1987 aboard Honda.
