A superb postcard view down Montpelier Vale, Blackheath Village, London - the detial is incredible, with individual shops identifiable, the pavements as busy (as they ever are!) and the impressive form of the Victorian schoolhouse on Independence Road, now a Montessori Centre and Private Hospital. Couple kissing outside Carnaby Street boutique

A couple kissing in front of iconic Carnaby Street boutique, I was Lord Kitchener's Valet. Hanging outside can be seen a variety of men's vintage clothing including a naval peacoat and an Indian style jacket. The shop was renowned for its eclectic selection of second hand and vintage clothing, especially military stock. The couple themselves are the height of fashion. He's wearing patterned lemon yellow flared trousers while his blonde companion is wearing a red mini dress with white go go boots. Date: 1966

Biba move to Kensington Church Street

A highly publicised moving day for the Biba boutique of Barbara Hulanicki as around 60 models and well-known sixties personalities help to move the shop from its original Abingdon Road location to larger premises on Church Street. Girls can be seen hanging out of the back of the lorry emblazoned with the Biba name. Nicky Poulet is seen third from right. Date: 1966
