From his early days in Yamaha to his triumphs with EMC and Honda, Hazlett's name became synonymous with speed and skill. In 1991, riding for Yamaha, Hazlett showcased his talent at the Junior TT event. Pushing boundaries and defying limits, he raced fearlessly through the challenging Isle of Man course. This was just one of many victories that would solidify his place among racing greats. The year prior, in 1990, it was Honda that propelled Hazlett to new heights as he conquered the Senior TT race. With precision and determination, he navigated every turn flawlessly to claim victory against fierce competition. But it wasn't only on the Isle of Man where Hazlett shone bright; he also made waves at the prestigious Manx Grand Prix races. In 1984, riding for Yamaha once again, he proved himself as a force to be reckoned with by winning the Newcomers category. Continuing his dominance in subsequent years at the Manx Grand Prix events, Hazlett clinched both Junior and Senior titles in 1987 aboard a Yamaha machine. His ability to adapt to different bikes showcased not only his versatility but also his innate understanding of each motorcycle's capabilities. Hazlett's partnership with Honda reached its pinnacle during the Formula One TT races in 1992. He displayed unparalleled synergy between man and machine as they tore through laps together effortlessly. Alongside fellow racer Steve Williams on Yamaha machinery in 1990 Formula One TT race further demonstrated their prowess as they pushed each other towards greatness. Notably teaming up with Ian Young on Yamaha for EMC during the thrilling Junior TT event of 1989 added another chapter to Hazlett's illustrious career - proving that teamwork and camaraderie were just as vital in his success.
