The 25-year-old Londoner won his second successive Olympic gold medal for the decathlon in the Los Angeles Coliseum. He then donned a T-shirt which said Thanks America for a good games and a great time on the front and on the back But what about the TV coverage?'.
The next stop was a press conference where he unzipped his GB tracksuit to reveal another T-shirt, which read: Is the world's second greatest athlete gay? a reference to rumours about the alleged and denied sexual preferences of Carl Lewis, the American track star.
Asked who was the second greatest athlete in the world, he replied that he may be Lewis or Jurgen Hingsen, second in the Decathlon
