In 1996, alongside his partner Stephen Galligan, Boyd made his mark at the Sidecar TT race riding for Baker Yamaha. Boyd's love affair with Yamaha continued into the new millennium when he competed in the Formula One TT event in 2000. Pushing himself to new limits, he showcased his exceptional talent and left spectators awestruck by his lightning-fast laps. Never one to rest on past achievements alone, Boyd switched gears and joined Suzuki for the Senior Manx Grand Prix in 2014. The roar of his bike echoed through every corner as he fearlessly tackled each twist and turn that lay before him. Kawasaki proved to be another successful partnership for Boyd throughout various races over the years. The year 1999 saw Boyd conquer yet another challenge as he triumphed at the Production TT riding a powerful Kawasaki bike. His ability to harness its raw power was truly remarkable - solidifying his status as one of racing's greats. Boyd's prowess on two wheels reached its peak during an unforgettable year in 2004 when he clinched victories at both the Senior TT and Formula One TT races astride a Kawasaki beast. These wins cemented him firmly among legends who have graced this prestigious event throughout history. Not content with resting on laurels once again, Boyd pushed boundaries even further in 2006 when he tackled the Superbike TT on a Kawasaki machine.
