This iconic landmark stands as a testament to their indomitable spirit and unwavering determination. Fort Myer witnessed history being made when Orville took his first test flights aboard the Wright Flyer. On September 3rd, 1908, he soared through the skies above Virginia – an awe-inspiring sight that left spectators breathless. Returning once again to Kitty Hawk in North Carolina on December 17th is an image capturing one of humanity's greatest triumphs -the first flight of a powered aircraft by none other than Wilbur and Orville themselves. This monumental achievement marked a turning point in our understanding of what was possible within the realm of aviation.
