This print captures a moment in time at the Harp Lager Brewery in Manor Park, Alton, East Hampshire. In this image, we see a dedicated man engrossed in his work within the brewery's laboratory. Surrounded by an array of pressure gauges, he is diligently carrying out his scientific duties. The construction of this state-of-the-art brewery was undertaken by John Laing Construction Ltd and completed in 1963. The architects and engineers from Group Technical Services collaborated with Arthur Guinness, Son and Company Limited to design this magnificent facility. Over the years, Harp Lager Brewery underwent several ownership changes - first acquired by Bass in 1979 before eventually falling under the umbrella of Molson Coors.
