The foundation stone of Clapham Baths was laid in September 1930 and the building was formally opened in July 1932. The baths included a swimming pool, first and second class slipper baths for men and women, and a laundry. In around 2010 the building was demolished and a new leisure centre was built on the site

The baths were not only equipped with a spacious swimming pool but also boasted first and second-class slipper baths for both men and women, along with a laundry facility. However, time took its toll on this architectural gem and around 2010, the original building had to make way for a new leisure center that stands on its hallowed grounds today.
