Abraham Hondius, also known as Abraham de Hondt, was a prominent Dutch artist of the 17th century. Born in Amsterdam around 1638, Hondius is best known for his topographical and architectural views, as well as his landscapes. He was the son of the renowned engraver Willem Hondius and the grandnephew of the cartographer Jodocus Hondius.
