The victorious team comprised Captain H. H. Tomkinson, Captain Leslie Cheape, Captain F. W. Barrett and Captain Vivian Lockett. Captain Leslie St. Clair Cheape (1882-1916) was dubbed, Englands greatest polo player. He played for England in the Westchester Cup three times in 1911, 1913 and 1914.
