Charles Edward Stuart, also known as Bonnie Prince Charlie, had been disguised as the servant 'Flora's maid' during his harrowing journey from Inverness to the western Isles of Scotland. Flora, a Gaelic-speaking Highlander, risked her life to help the fugitive prince by transporting him across the Minch Sea to the Isle of Skye.
