Born in 1756, Jeanne was the daughter of a wealthy and influential family from the region of Languedoc. Her beauty and intelligence quickly gained her the attention of the French aristocracy, and she became a sought-after figure at the royal court. Despite her privileged upbringing, Jeanne's life was far from conventional. She was known for her unconventional behavior and her love of adventure.
