Step back in time with this photograph of the Leicester Fosse Football Club team from the late 1890s. Featuring some of the most famous footballers of the era, this team would go on to make history in the 1895 and 1896 football seasons. In the forefront, we see goalkeeper Lee, with his determined expression and steady hands, ready to defend the goal. Next to him, Baird and Atherton, the stalwarts of the Leicester Fosse defense, stand tall and focused. Thompson and Strachan, the team's midfielders, are seen in the middle, their eyes fixed on the ball and their expressions filled with determination. Up front, we have the formidable forward line, led by Lord, Walker, Bailey, Newton, Hogan, Manson, Thraves, Davies, Pickard, Gallocher, Henrys, McArthur, Trainer, Skea, and Brown.
