This photograph showcases the historic Farnborough Arms pub, located in the vibrant and eclectic area of Battersea, London. The image, taken from the corner view, reveals the beautiful red brick facade adorned with ornate white detailing and the iconic pub sign hanging proudly above the entrance. The Farnborough Arms, a cherished local establishment, was situated at 67 Westbridge Road, and as of July 2018, held the address Farnborough Arms, Battersea, London SW11 3TQ. The history of this pub can be traced back to at least 1944, when it was situated in the same location but was known as the Hoare and Company Limited. However, the road name underwent a change, and the pub was later renamed as the Farnborough Arms. Regrettably, this historic building is no longer in existence, as it has been demolished. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of the rich history and character that once defined this corner of Battersea.
