EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph print showcases the charming exterior of the Princess Alexandra Public House, located in the heart of Westbourne Green, London. The Colour Corner facade of the pub, adorned with vibrant signs and intricate details, invites passersby to step inside and experience the warm and inviting atmosphere. Originally established as a public house, the Princess Alexandra has been a beloved fixture in the Westbourne Green community for many years. The back of this print, available upon request, reveals the address of the pub, which was once located at 12 Westbourne Park Road, London W11 1EA. As of July 2018, the street name had been changed to Westbourne Park Road, and the Princess Alexandra had been transformed into the Bumpkin2 restaurant. However, the pub is now back on the market, offering a new chapter in its storied history. The Princess Alexandra was once a part of the Wenlock and Essex Brewery Company Limited, a renowned brewing company in London. Though the company is no longer in operation, the legacy of the Princess Alexandra and other pubs like it continue to be cherished by locals and visitors alike. This photograph print is a beautiful reminder of the rich history and character of London's public houses and the unique role they play in the fabric of the city.
