The Turk from Tunis, dressed in a long, flowing white robe and a red fez, holds a long-barreled gun with both hands, his expression serious and focused. His feet are adorned with unusual, thick-soled sandals, made of felt and wood, typical of North African footwear. In contrast, the Turk from Damascus wears a thick, woolen cloak draped over his shoulders, and a tall, conical turban. He raises his hand in a gesture of greeting or peace, while his left foot is bare, revealing the intricate design of his wooden sandals. The long-barreled gun at his side is a common sight in the Ottoman Empire, where firearms were widely used.
