Portrait of the HON. W. F. D. SMITH, (12 August 1868 ?? 16 June 1928), known as Frederick Smith. He was an English business man and politician. Photograph shows him in his position as the first member of the new house of commons. He was the conservative member for the Strand division of London between 1891??1910. He is the only son of the late W. H. Smith, and a partner in the great firm of railway-stall newsagents. Date: circa 1900
