This photograph transport us back in time to the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, also known as the "Century of Progress Exposition." Among the many wonders of this international event, the Shedd Aquarium stood out as a testament to America's ingenuity and love for nature. Opened in 1930, the Shedd Aquarium was the first inland aquarium with a large, public, indoor swimming pool.
