Daughter of Prince Frederick Charles of Prussia and Princess Maria Anna of Saxe-Altenburg, Louise Margaret was a German princess who would later become a member of the British Royal Family. The image, taken in 1884, shows the princess in a formal portrait setting, dressed in a high-necked, long-sleeved gown with a lace overlay, accessorized with a delicate necklace and earrings. Her dark hair is styled in an intricate updo, adorned with a diadem and a feathered headpiece. At the time of this photograph, Louise Margaret was not yet a member of the British Royal Family.
