The Titan, a Cold War era weapon of mass destruction, was developed by the United States in response to the Soviet Union's growing nuclear arsenal. The Titan ICBM was a two-stage, liquid-fueled rocket, standing at an impressive height of 94 feet and weighing over 200,000 pounds. Its first stage, powered by a cluster of eight engines, generated a colossal thrust of 1.2 million pounds, propelling the missile to an altitude of 100 miles and a speed of over 5,000 miles per hour.
