The Slender Gentian, depicted on the left, is characterized by its tall, slender stems and narrow, lanceolate leaves. Its delicate, violet-blue flowers bloom in late summer and are adorned with a distinctive white stripe down the middle. This species is native to Europe and Asia, and was traditionally used in herbal medicine for its cooling properties. In the center, the Dwarf Spring Gentian, also known as Andrews' Gentian, boasts a compact stature and rosette-like growth habit.
